FEATURE PROJECT
ENHANCING MOLDOVAN PRIMARY HEALTH CARE
This year, our sponsored international project aims to improve healthcare in Moldova’s rural areas by providing modern diagnostic and emergency medical equipment to under-resourced Primary Health Care (PHC) centers. It targets facilities that currently lack essential tools needed for effective and safe service delivery.
The project does not involve infrastructure reconstruction but focuses solely on equipment upgrades. Its purpose is to strengthen rural PHC capacity, reduce health disparities, and improve the quality of care. Overall, it supports Moldova’s National Health Strategy 2030 and advances progress toward Universal Health Coverage.
OUR CLUB
Founded in 1990, Rotary Club The Hague Metropolitan (RCTHM) is the first English speaking Rotary Club in the Netherlands. Based in The Hague – the city of peace and justice – our members reflect the cosmopolitan community that flourishes here. We come together to serve local and global communities in need, embodying the Rotary motto: Service Above Self.
